Sasha's First Birthday Party in Washington, DC

Today we had Sasha's first birthday party at My Gym Kentlands. Our nanny Kim and her Mom threw an amazing party for our little Sasha. We are so lucky to have such a loving and caring Nanny along with her Mom and husband. They have made life with Sasha that much more enjoyable. Sasha makes this new little face and it is the cutest thing! I cannot get enought of it. She is at such a fun age now where everyday is something new. But I must admit, this has been my favorite so far. Below are a few videos of her new little facial expression.

It's been quite a while since I have posted to my blog but as I was thinking about my blog I realized the value of this wonderful tool. It seems like my pregnancy was so long ago, so visiting my previous posts and seeing the venture we have been on over the past year is remarkable! Going from a little baby bump to a 7 month old in what seems like such a short period of time is mind-blowing. And as I ease back into posting to my blog, I have the perfect video to share. I was feeding Sasha dinner last night and as I brought the spoon to her mouth, this is what she did...

Meet Sasha Lorenn, the newest addition to our family! Sasha was born on April 29th at 10:19pm weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. We could not be happier to have finally met our little one.

37 Weeks

We just came back from our weekly doctor's appointment only to find out we are being induced today! We had to get some final belly shots before she is born to capture the size of my belly. I guess you could say we are scared, overwhelmed and excited all at once. The next post will be to announce her arrival. How exciting!
